Osteopathy

Osteopaths are primary healthcare providers who diagnose and treat people who are in pain and/or whose movements are restricted due to muscle, nerve, tendon, ligament or joint problems.

Dr Elizabeth van der Walt qualified with a Masters degree in Osteopathy from Anglia Ruskin University, United Kingdom, in 2014. She also completed a degree in Human Movement Science at the University of the Free State in 1999, after which she worked for 10 years in the United Kingdom in sports and spinal injury rehabilitation.

Based in Somerset West in the Western Cape near Cape Town, Dr Elizabeth van der Walt provides osteopathy treatment for back pain, neck pain, sports injuries, posture problems, spinal rehabilitation, joint pain and musculoskeletal conditions.
